these are amazing menthol cigs. they are not too minty, but they’re menthol. they are similar in taste to newports, just less strong.
WARNING: this is going to be a little bit of a rant.
I smoke marlboro milds (both 100’s and regulars, i switch) and they recently changed the box. The first picture I posted shows the top of each of the boxes. The top one is the old pack. It says Marlboro Milds. The second box, underneath it, is the new box. It says Marlboro Menthol Blue Pack.
The next picture, you can see the old box on the left, which says Marlboro Milds. The one on the right says Marlboro. I was informed they had to change the name of the label. Apparently, people complained because they thought Marlboro Milds helped quit smoking, or they were less bad for you than other cigarettes. The word “mild” refers to the taste.
Before they changed the box, they had to make a label on the cellophane saying “Mild” does not help you quit smoking…it only refers to taste. Apparently, this was not enough of a warning, and the government made them change the name to Marlboro Menthol Blue Pack. They had to remove the name “mild”.
It never ceases to amaze me how stupid people are. People cannot be trusted to take responsibility for themselves. If you don’t know by now that cigarettes are bad for you, it is a problem. I am not pissed off my cigarettes changed names, but I am pissed off people blame cigarette companies for not informing them of true facts, when it says so on the box. Get a clue, and take responsibility. These are the same as people who sue Mcdonalds for gaining weight.
To those people: You cannot be that stupid. You need to grow up, get a clue, and maybe get a good kick in the face, so you will learn. I don’t hate you, because I can’t hate the weak and pathetic. You give America a bad name. Stop.
